Hi I was wondering if anybody would know for sure if a front windshield from a 1970 4 door fury 3 (it's tinted)-will fit my 1969 Fury two door sedan? I have a parts car I can remove it from. Thanks for any and all help!

69 and 70 windshields are the same for the same models. The question is if you're 70 4dr is a HT or Sdn. The 4dr HT windshield will fit any 2dr Sdn, HT, or Conv. A 4dr Sdn will not work on a 2dr.

I agree.

If the '70 Fury III is a sedan and not a hardtop I have a nice tinted 2 door windshield I could trade you...

2-door, convertible, 4-door Hardtops are the same and will NOT work on a Sedan or Wagon

Sedan and Wagons are the same and will NOT work on 2-door, convertible, 4-door Hardtops

This is true for 69-73, outside that I do not know. I haven't looked into 2-door sedans.

The 4-door sedan/Wagon windshield in not available new, maybe old stock somewhere.

Hi Dave, Darn-the '70 Fury I mentioned is a sedan. I wouldn't mind trading, but I see you are an amazing distance away!
pm me is we can work something out.

In looking at the Parts book it appears the 2-door sedan uses the same windshield as the hardtop and convertible.

The 1969 and 1970 Fury I and II 2 door sedan used the 4 door hardtop roof and not the 4 door sedan roof as in previous years.

Hi, I apparently wasn't very clear in my first post but as you can see by the 69 and 70 parts books:

1970 windsheild.JPG

As you can see there are two windshields that were used.
Any 2-door windshield or 4-door hardtop windshield will swap out.
The 4-door sedan and wagons will swap out.

Yeah that is pretty far away. I would not want to ship a windshield.
I am going to have to get pretty serious about finding one for my car. I got clear one but I really would like to find a tinted one.
