I have what looks like 2 high beam switches?

Actually, it was a very valid question.

One of the questions that have been asked here:
Where is the dimmer switch?
(after snapping off the turn signal lever, perhaps)

Also, I myself asked here many years ago:
They didn't make convertibles in '71??? :wideyed:

I'd prefer someone asked "What's this?" over "I have no idea what it is, so I don't use it".

You are in the garage with a bunch of friends and you come across something unfamiliar. You either, A: quietly go over to the work bench, pull out the FSM and start researching, or, B: shout out, "Hey, any of you guys know what this thing does?" It's always more fun to ask.

A recent poll shows you are less likely to get car jacked if you are driving a car with a manual transmission because the thief can't ask "how do I get this thing into Drive??"

Until I joined this forum I had never seen those, I grew up on Mopar but everything C-Body seams new to me.

When there are no more noob questions ,there are no more noobs and the forum and the C body hobby is dying. I think it is a good sign when we get any questions especially the beginer ones. I didn't know the answer either cause I am an old C body noob.
I would agree! I have SOME knowledge of Imperials but not much about C Bodys. My 78 New Yorker doesn't have the floor button station changer though my 67 Imperial did.
