I couldn't find a way to adjust the front end of the trunk down when it is shut. It sticks up probably a quarter of an inch. How do you adjust it?

There should be play in the bolts where the hinges attache to the lid, sometimes you can loosen them a little bit and close the lid then push in place then open and tighten. In the trunk lid the bolt thread into a floating bar the was designed to give you this alignment.

With the trunk lid open loosen the bolt closest to rear of the car just slightly. You don't want to lose the forward and back adjustment. Loosen the bolt closest to the rear window and push up on the rear of the open lid. You should see it move a little bit. Tighten bolts and check. It might take a few tries to get it where you want it.
