1960 Dodge Dart Coming to a home near me!

Could have been some kind of publicity stunt. The first year of the Dart Seneca given to the Seneca Nation, or perhaps a donation for the use of the name? Speaking of name, Hiawatha was a famous Iroquois chief....

Speaking of name, Hiawatha was a famous Iroquois chief....
Hiawatha was from the Onondaga tribe, part of the Six Nations of the Iroquois. Some say he was a Mohawk, but since I live in Onondaga county, I'm siding with the Onondaga version.

The Senecas are also part of the Six Nations. Onondaga, Seneca, Mohawk, Tuscarora, Algonquin and Cayuga. (That was from memory too!! The local history I was taught in high school actually stuck with me!)

I nearly crapped myself when I found this picture but it's a picture of a 1960 Dodge Seneca police car not a Seneca reserve police car...

Hell, we even had to learn the three possession hand signals out the driverz door window
Hell I still use hand signals out the drivers window.
Occasionally a wadded up Coke can flying out the window will usually get even the most stubborn phone watcher's attention but I would not know anything about that.

I wonder if they still teach hand signals in driver's ed?

When are you getting her? You're not that far away. I can't wait to see it shined up. My '61 Seneca was the same color. It did have an automatic and heater though.

Congrats on that score btw, usually those would have turned to dirt by now from all the salt they used over that way. So you know it was never driven much in the winter, not to mention no heater.
I think you should name her Jane as in "Plain-Jane"

Jane is good, I've always liked that name.
