'67 Imperial Crown Coupe now added to the collection

Putting the new pan gasket wasn't too bad except I didn't take the AC compressor off and that did prove to be troublesome

I'm using a cool carb spacer which is made of aluminium with a heat resistance core in the middle, along with a cool sheet in between the bottom of the intake and valley pan gasket. My goal is to stop the gas from boiling and making hot starts easier

The spacer did raise the height of the carb so for now, I'll run this air cleaner and at car shows I'll put the original on. I'll have to wait for better weather here to find out if I was successful

I bought one of those cool carb spacers at the Nats last year and it's still in the trunk. I'll be interested in knowing if it helps.

Man does that look great!

I know this looks stupid, I had an old RAC brand tach from the 60's and I attached it to a coffee cup holder I had . I centered it and sandwiched a piece of metal so I had some strength. Tomorrow I'll wires it up and see my results.
