Anyone used these quarter repair panels?

Wait how is that possible when the seller has 100% positive feedback?

Just goes to show how well you can trust E BAY nowadays.

Must be because he doesn't lie about the fit and finish, I guess.

Low cost, economy hand formed reproduction lower quarter panel made in Canada from coated automotive steel. Repairs damaged or rusted-out areas.
Fits the driver side (left) 65,66/1965,1966 Plymouth Fury 4 door.
The quarter panel requires extra work for installation including body work, advanced sheet metal skills and more time to finish.

Easy... Almost all feedback is based on how fast the part was shipped and if it arrived in one piece. The "window" for leaving feedback really doesn't allow for the time needed to weld the POS on the car and finish it.

I'll even bet that half of them never get installed.

You can spot a car repaired with these panels a mile off. There's no compound curves... or even simple curves for that matter.

Yes I used these on my '67 fury 4 door hardtop and my convertible. They required much trial and error for me to fit but I am not a professional body repairman. I can say this- they were much less money than panels from the southwestern salvage yards and look a lot better when finished than the rusted through original panels that I had. My trunk drop off panels were rusted out as well so I had to replace those when I did the panels. I bought some of these drop offs on ebay too but needed to be modified to fit properly. Time consuming but well worth in the end. I am sorry that the photos aren't in order. I am 75 and my computer skills are limited. Best of luck to you.

Thanks for sharing! Interesting. I'm not sure 100% what I'm going to do but "I think" its just the lowers and may try making them but from the pics above it doesn't look all bad either.

Those pics look decent, but if you try their panels for, let`s say 68 Fury, where the shape is different, you will understand why starting from scratch is a better idea.
I tried and I can say - the panels are complete junk! Waste of time and money.

John you should be commended for ending up with something very presentable especially considering what you started with. Nice job..

Thanks for the kind words. I do agree that these panels require much time and refitting to install. My situation was money. If someone can afford to purchase rust free panels from out west and pay the freight costs, that is usually the best choice but I simply could not afford to go that route and as the photos show, my panels were really rusted through. One thing I discovered these patch panels from ebay is that the steel used is treated and does not rust. When I did my convertible I left a small piece that I had trimmed off out in the weather for over a month and no rust formed in that time.

Most impressive John to say the least. You all are amazing. It floors me how much talent, mastery and knowledge is in this forum.
