Hello,

I cannot open or close the window on the passenger site of my '72 Imperial anymore.
I hear the motor running but nothing happens. I think the mechanical part is broken.

Now I want to search the internet for this mechanical part but I don't know how this is called.
Does anyone knows where I can find this part?

If the motor makes noise, but the window no longer moves, your gear head pucks are dust. Easily fixed for very little $$$.

No, it's really that mechanical part that's broken. I can push the window down, or the window goes down from itself. There are some "tooth's" missing on the gears.

Can you hear the window Motor?

When you note that there are "tooth's missing". You are referring to the window regulator. What you describe is a bad lift motor. Perhaps you can post some pictures of what you are seeing.

Nope I seriously doubt you're missing a tooth on the gear, when the pucks are dust you can lift & push the glass down (or it slides down because of its own weight)...it has nothing to do with the gear. Unless you have a pic that shows a mangled gear and regulator.

My bet is still the pucks. I have never seen a mangled gear on these.

Yep, get yourself ready to repair 2 of them.
