That is an actual 1974/1975 Imperial hood ornament. The base wedge will have to reshaped to make it fit properly in the NY'er trim base or find a 1974/1975 Imperial base trim. Or keep looking for a complete NY'er hood ornament.
 
I think that it would be better to source a Chrysler hood ornament rather than "Imperializing" your NYB. Keep looking, they're out there. My 10 cents...

I just bought the hood ornament. 'll let everybody know what it looks like when I get it.

Keep the requests coming...we'll get your NYB looking and riding....like a Chrysler LOL ! Are your brougham emblems in good shape or are they faded too? Another common issue with these cars over the years.

The ones on the C-pillars are faded too. The one on the dash is ok. I do need the one for the steering wheel horn pad. Thanks again!!!
