what is this for?

lose wireing hanging down under the steering colum...it actually comes out from the steering wheel side...wasn't hooked up to anything but is steering wheel related somehow..

What colours are the wires.

Green, tan and violet wires.

If it had 4 wires. it would be the speed control.
