Who remembers the 1969 L code 440 HP VIP that was on eBay circa 2002? Does anybody know the whereabouts of this car?

It was B5 two door hard top, with a white roof.

I believe in was located in the southern states.

Thanks!!!!

In my research I found a few pictures of a Blue 1969 2 door VIP but I have no info on it other than these pictures. And it's a BEAUTY !!!!

Very cool. I always wondered where the car was sold to and who had it. I'm glad you are enjoying the car,...it looked super neat when I saw it last.

Do you have a photo you can share of the fender tag? Offline is fine too.

Many thanks!

It's a small world when someone can throw up a post regarding an obscure car 15 years ago and someone else pipes in oh yeah I've got it.

It is a small world indeed however .......

I surely would not want to wire it up or paint it !!!

I remember it, too.
Paint was tired but maybe original (still good looking to me).
Had a black V-roof
It was an L-code car but the engine was blue not orange IIRC
