1970 auto temp action

Hi. I have all my atc stuff work ing in my hurst. My question is how your atc works. When i start the car only the Def and high def works. After a white it Come on on auto and high auto. Is it The engine temp that controlunit that?
Also the two swotches yellow for compressor and The green for the fan.
The green never works but if i change it to a yellow vacuum swich it works. Why this? To low vacuum? Every swich are new

Not sure, but I remember reading somewhere it should be the other way round when you start the car: So as not to blow humid air from the then warm A/C condensor against the windshield, the air is first directed to the regular vents, even if you have pushed DEF or HI DEF. This should then change after a minute or so of the engine running.

What green or yellow switches are you referring to?
