Welcome CopcarMike1971polara to FCBO!

Welcome aboard, do you know what agency this was from?

Have you been to Ripon for the Emergency Vehicle Show? The next show is Saturday October 7, your car would be welcome as-is.

I'm just down the 101 a few hours.

The rust around window let water in its still reiltivly soild but to do it right il have to atlest replace rear and front drivers pan. And exust needs to be done bad. Im finding parts are more harder to find than my other cars verry limeted on re pop parts any advice on geting parts for now my plan is to fix stop the rot and a few thengs so I can Daly drive and then work on restoring I found a mint set of red line caps I just got and I'm slowly collecting nos and used parts as I find them

Here is a abbreviated journal of the restoration, may take a few hours to go through.

Depending on the extent of the rust you may need a parts car.

I'm sorry I forgot the guy told me it was a ex Marin county sherriffs car. But under grean paint it's black and it has a lot of the chp opts but prob order with chp cars a piggy back car ?

Other agencies would often tag onto the CHP contract some with minor differences. Sometimes these agencies would get car right off the CHP lot.

CHP normaly auctioned the cars at 75000 miles, sometime agencies would buy used CHP cars with less miles.

I'm assuming Marin got new cars

Would be cool to see this car done in its original colors and equipment.
