I have a very very clean 1970 Chrysler New Yorker, for sale. From what I was told the car was garage kept for a majority of its life. The car runs drives and stops good. She is housing the very sough after 440 V8 which makes the car more desirable. She has about 32000 miles on the speedo and I am not sure if that is 132000 or not. Because of scammers my number is in the pictures. This car is nice, its needs a few small things here and there because she is a 1970, but other then that its a bad ride!

Maybe garaged with a big hole in the garage roof. The Dutch Panel looks horrible.

It's nicely optioned. A/C, Cornering lights, Split bench with black vinyl (classy), Power seats & windows, Remote trunk release. There is no rust in the trunk, even the cardboard pieces on top of rear wheel fenders look intact. The spare tire is a cross&ply one, although not original. (In my previous one it was.)

Overall, it looks like a pretty well preserved one. The dutchman panel issue might have been caused by condensation.

Too bad the A/C is of the Autotemp I variety, but I guess with enough will & guts you could make your way around repairing it, too. After all, it was only man made. And what is man made, a man can fix.

Edit: I claimed it has a Tilt&Tele wheel. Of course that is the standard wheel.

If the garage had a sheet metal siding (or vinyl siding, for that matter) there was a condensation problem brewing up, no matter what. The car is almost fifty years old; there is bound to be rust & bubbles beneath the vinyl roof. You only avoid that if the car has lived all it's life in a desert. But then you'd have the scorched dash & interior problem. Which one do you prefer? I'll take this one everytime. It's only metal. It can be fixed.

Wow - I actually own this car now. I joined this forum a few months after getting the car and doing some research, didn't even realize there was a thread about it. Its funny to see a past forum talking about the car you own now. The C-Body world sure is small.

Well it makes me feel better to see it go to someone who thinks enough of it to join a "club". It's nice to see them go to good homes.

Agreed.. these old girl have a small select few that love them.. happy to see her being proudly enjoyed. Welcome to the “Small select few”. Lol
