The journey this car is on is a sad one. I don't see prospects for a better future.
That's what happens when you build a "what if" car. AMHIK.

The over the top rah, rah description along with the over sized print REALLY turns me off to this seller.

The Polaras owner is a member here . A white bucket interior would help the car .... a lot

I like it. Love that full sized muscle. White interior, and buckets would be awesome.
They're asking a big price, but if it runs as good as it looks, I think its pretty fair. The C Bodies are going to go up more, look what people pay for impalas.

I just like big cars, I like the room and the vroom;]

I'd drive that the way it is, my girl sliding over to cuddle while cruising along at low 100mph speeds on the back roads. It needs to come back to minnesota.time to start a go fund me page!

Does anyone know what type of hump was used on this Polara to convert to 4spd? Was it a factory style hump in the factory location? I am contemplating using the same 71-74 bench seat pistol grip handle, instead of the 70-style 'nordic walking stick' (which is still cool), but I was wondering if the 71-74 style would not be too close to the dashboard in my 71 Suburban with factory hump and bench. On B-bodies the shifter box is mounted to the transmission on an adapter plate, which moves the shifter more to the driver. Consequently the hump and opening are also located more to the rear.

Looks like some well done mods on this one. It is a benchmark for a modified C Body. IMHO bidding on this one died right about at what the car should reasonably sell for.
