Not mine. This one looks nice but there is something about the grill and vinyl top that isn't right.

I like that car!440, Cruise,power windows,buckets,console and console tach.Very nice !

The cruise control is not original it looks like a late 70s Mopar setup but I'm ok with that. I use my cruise all the time I would not be without it.

The grille looks strange as someone gave it a Krylon overhaul with black paint.

I don't think it had a vinyl top originally as it goes under the rear window, doesn't have the stainless trim to keep it where it belongs and the padding looks like *** in my opinion. Other than the strange top, I do like the car, but like the one Ross had a chunk better.

With other odd changes on this I would have to see the VIN to verify if the engine is original.

Also looks like some Canadian input with '68 Fury patterns on the door panels and Fury seats.

Likely a Canadian car as it's listed on kajiji so the interior may well be correct. likely not an original BB car as the Canadian cars had callouts for big blocks, I believe. Base motor in a 68 500 in Canada would have been a 318.

Not a bad car but a few more liberties taken than I'd get into.

Again learning something I've always wondered about. I still have the original 383 call outs from my car. I've seen some original BB cars with them and some not so it confused me. What you are saying makes sense.

Neat car. Has pw and rear speaker. Also door panel emblem isn't the 500. I'm not familiar with the term callouts, is that notching for dual exhaust or big block motor mounts?

Good call on the door emblem, I didn't catch that.
Callouts would be emblems stating engine size.

Thanks for the info guys. I mistakenly thought callouts may have been some sort of slang for cutouts. Mine is a small block Canadian car so no callouts at all. I'm still learning but the door panel emblem didn't look familiar. I was speaking with my dad last night, he claims back in the day there were more 500's in this area than Monacos. According to his memory there were few 2 dr Monacos compared with that of 2 dr Monaco 500's.

That's a lot of nice car for the money!

I think that was generally the truth. You don't see too too many non 500 67/68 Monaco 2drs in the states either. My first Monaco was a non 500 68 318 that I bought in British Columbia when I lived there. It was the only non 500 car I'd seen out there.

GJS, your previous car was part of the conversation. I had showed him the post with the picture of your non 500 68. It was nice shot of the side trim. He didn't recall many that looked like that. He thought yours was a good looking car though!
