Who said that ? Guarantee it wasen't Murray Park. :poke:

Wow. In my 68 the wiperbottle crumbled away when I touched it... After seeing how much the repros are,I hooked up a 2 liter soda bottle with the pump in the bottom...

Ya I wasn't sure how much I had to charge for the bottle,I was surprised what I got offered for it. Since then i sold a few to Europe.
I have mostly 69 bottles and a few 70-71 on my shelf

Out of curiosity... has anyone come up with a process to clean these bottles and restore the plastic to something closer to the original? I used orange hand cleaner with lanolin on mine seemed to help but....
Use javex bleach. Just let it soak in the bleach for a few days and it should clean it right up. I'm doing that on a Interior light lens from a parts car rite now. The lens was burnt dark brown from the heat of the bulb and looked terrible and very much unusable but I soaked it in bleach for 48 hours now and it looks great with no damage to the lens , it didn't make it brittle and it's much thinner plastic than a washer bottle. I'm going to soak it for a few more hours to see how white i can get it.

......I'm stupid enough to have bought a complete car for the 1970 NOS washer bottle the owner installed in 1980, because the original cracked. The bottle was perfect! (I also, got a 440 TNT out of the deal, so it wasn't too stupid!).

A good washer bottle is hard to find,...I reckon.

I have a guy at work who would like to 3D print a bottle for me, but I had a hard time finding someone to loan me a master bottle to use for dimensions. This can be done, just need someone to ship a bottle to WA state for a few months to work the bugs out.

What's the incentive to do so ......?
