This is interesting.... Your 71 looks like it has a seat belt retractor that sits on top of the carpet. The 69 and 70 is under, with the 69 being cardboard and 70 being plastic.

The subtle differences between these three years, especially the 70 and 71, fascinates me.

Help on 1970 Chrysler 300 hurst carpet install!!

You are making a keeper.
Yes I am, now with the summer is over here up north I will hide for the next 5-6 months in my garage almost every night and plug away on the car.
I need the 300 done by spring because I'm starting my other 71 300 sunroof U Code car and hopefully I will have the car back from Body and paint
done by Paul in spring.

Started to clean up the sunroof tracks, hopefully roof is working soon

Please keep us informed as to what you are doing on your sunroof car, as that is a hurdle that I have yet to take on fully. Does your motor at least work? What parts will you need to find or fix? Thanks!
Steve the motor works great took me almost 2hr to fix it , I got all my replacement parts from Germany
Is an easy fix to repair a Sunroof.
Is only German engineering nothing special it just takes time.
