Working on my 71 300

Steve the motor works great took me almost 2hr to fix it , I got all my replacement parts from Germany
Is an easy fix to repair a Sunroof.
Is only German engineering nothing special it just takes time.

Hmmm, I am only half German based on my ancestry, so I guess it would take me 4 hours to fix that motor!
I like your attitude though. I might have to call you if I get stuck.

Were those original motors sourced from Germany as well as the other parts, even though those sunroofs were made by American Sunroof Company? So are you saying you can get new cables (maybe they never go bad), weather seals for them as well as other parts from Germany?

ASC used back in the day all German parts made by Bosch Steve, you can use Mercedes or BMW Sunroof parts out of those years even Jaguar used the same parts, the guy started ASC was a German, believe me those roofs are simple and easy to understand and fix

Very good to know that - and encouraging. Thanks!

A little bit more done, the new headliner is very difficult to install with only 2 bows and the sunroof hole, the SEM Super white is a good match with the original interior colour.

I’m happy the Sunroof is working like the day it came from the factory.
Some minor height adjustments and after that I install the new seals and done.
