Wrong color for Carsten. Not me though ....... If I wanted an imperial that would be it. I love the 69s

Am I wrong but isn't this a rare fuselage Imperial with a very low 2 -door production number? I would think it would be worth the asking price!

just curious, anyone looked at the car or talked to the owner? Was wondering about past rust fixes, accidents, chassis area. thanks.

Like sauterd, I'm curious too.

Not my colour, but it's a fuselage Imperial...

Sold. The old guy selling this one just don't know how to delete the ad, so it vanishes in time...

I wonder if someone on FCBO bought it. We don't see too many 1969 Imp coupe Fusies so it would be cool to follow this car.

I bought it. Just like the 69 2dr. imperials and love that color. T7. I needed a project car badly :)
Will ship it next month to the Netherlands. The car will need work, thats sure, but what can you expect for such a price....

congrats to your new purchase.

Thanks guys (and girls). We all know how it goes, low price....lots of work. Got it for 4000. The guy I bought it from had it for 6 years and he got it from Colorado. The car came from the mid-west before so it has probably seen some bad winters.... There is rust to be dealt with which is always a pain in the arse. Lower rear front panels and driver side wheel well. Luckily not much on the roof, will need vinyl ofcourse. Will keep paint the way it is, exept for the metal parts that need to be inserted.
But for me working on a great and iconic car that progresses slowly is the best there is. I enjoy every step. Now ordering parts that can go with the car. Ball joints, steering linkage, upper and lower control arm rubbers. Shocks and rear sway bar etc. Will let you know if there is any news. Might start a new post when the car is over in the Netherlands.
