Cold Case is here to help

I think the 74-78 was going to have to be a separate project. If there needs to be threaded port for a vacuum switch, that kind of solidifies my fears. Not saying we won't do it but we have a lot to do with the earlier C bodies which, no offense, are more popular. :(

As far as painting an aluminum radiator goes, It's pretty basic;

1. dust with a metal etching primer and then use regular black OEM shine paint like factory did. Don't use a high temp paint! It will trap the heat in the radiator.
2. only paint the tanks. that's all you really see anyway.

I'm not sure when the switch was moved, it may be one of the 74 Imperial only issues... my 76 NYB doesn't have it.

And whatever do you mean by "more popular"???

ONE LOUSY RADIATOR will fit EVERY one of the following models with the 400 and the 440 engine.
Stop being so short sighted. :soapbox:

Yeah... but I'm not prepared to try to jbweld one on a $400 "perfect fit" radiator...

Funny thing... I am in the market for one if it was a fully correct replacement.

Well, this radiator should go to the head of the linear line. Theres about a gazillion different radiators for the 65-73's.

cold case radiators from hatfield PA - thank you for setting me up with a full radiator and shroud and dual fan kit!

As everyone may or may not know, cold case joined the FCBO forum about 1 year ago, as a sponsor. At that time, they did not even have a 'c-body' radiator on their platform. and this forum let them know about it :)

Welcome ColdCaseJoe to FCBO!
Welcome Ccas to FCBO!

so, cold case did not run away from FCBO, as some people do (I laugh at those people BTW) because we shoot pretty straight around here, and some people cant hack it.

no sir, chris from cold case stuck with us, sports fans. even offered to build radiators for us if we can put a 10+ bulk order together. that's freaking awesome.

so - recently I came across the opportunity to send the people over at cold case a stock radiator and fan shroud out of a 1968 Plymouth fury, 440 w/ A/C. - so they could make a pure stock fitting version of their radiators for the c-body cars. This would allow a person to keep the stock cooling fan and stock shroud, as opposed to swapping out to electric.
In turn, cold case offered me a complete cold-case cooling solution - radiator, dual fan shroud, 2x 12" fans, and the full wiring relay kit. sweet, huh.

the previous page <-- I posted the boxes they shipped in, as a teaser pic.

The radiator:

cold-case fan relay kit:
we have a beasty relay that has the waterproof boot, decent length wiring, thermoswitch, 2 fan power leads, ATC fuse holder for your feed line, 30a fuse, and the little nuggets you need to hook it up. and I got 2 sets of instructions :) one inside the box and one taped outside the box. just for re-enforcement!

last we traded PM's (about a week ago), he was working on the wiring of the fans. He wanted to wire things a little different than the basic way. That might have set him back a bit.

Hey Saylor, it's getting hot here. Can you step on it a bit? My car is going to need cooler. :poke::D
