E-Town Summer National's is still on the 2018 schedule. Maybe they'll move it to another track. I'm sure there are other tracks all the way to Virginia that are asking to sponsor the money making event.

They can make MIR at Budd's Creek, Maryland an NHRA track and hold the race there. Budd's Creek is a killer track and very well organized.

That's a shame, I remember hearing these commercials on WABC in the '70's all of the time.

Good ole WABC. Cousin Brucie and the same 10 songs played over and over again. Sometimes twice in a row! As a kid loved it anyway.

My one and only trip down the 1320' was back in the '50s on my '48 Triumph at Fontana in SoCal. Been to several races at many tracks around the country since then and never felt the need to repeat. Never my style to beg for sponsorship $ I guess and too poor to do it without, Jer

As I predicted....NHRA is moving the Summernationals to Virginia Motorsports Park. Nice track and it'll be even nicer because they are resurfacing the entire track.
