SOLD - Purchased these from Year One, Shipped from U.S. Wheel from California and they won't fit my car given I want to maintain my original hub caps on my 1965 Sport Fury (I was having disc brakes put in the car and mechanic told me via phone that I needed 15"). Paid $100 shipping and Year One wants me to return them to Georgia which costs $225 shipping. Guess they want me to pay their shipping to Georgia!

Rims have not been unpacked. Prefer to sell in Phoenix area but will ship at a reasonable cost.

I'm sorry Mudblue, but a set of 658-5712 wheels would be available with free shipping if anyone bothered to search the internet.

On one hand I don't like to step on another member's toes... but on the other hand, I have a hard time sitting quietly while members are asked to pay retail.

Out of consideration, I did not include links. I am also sorry that you paid more for them than I found them for.

FWIW... the "regulars" in here are a smallish number... we DO tend to watch each other's backs.

Year one is know for markups well beyond retail... Good luck with the sale... but as stated by Jeff these are available all day with free shipping

The bad news is, I did not get free shipping! I need 14" and searched the internet, afterward this debacle, for 14" and GOOD LUCK in finding them. They are worth their weight in gold if you can find them. If push comes to shove, I eat the shipping and send them back to Year One. I have $525 into the rims and my thought was $400 and I ship was a fair deal. Guess not. Once burned, once learned! Wasn't my first mistake and sure it won't be my last! Thanks for rubbing salt in the wound!

I sincerely am sorry, I'll put the salt away...

To help solve your 14" wheel problem... I was just out your way... I saw lots of what should be 14" wheels lying around...
AZ trip...

If the disc conversion is still on the list... these are expensive, but let a 14" cover fit a 15" wheel...

"We also offer a service that will allow you to use your original 14" full wheel covers on a 15" wheel (66-69 Chargers with full wheelcovers, 67-69 Darts/Barracudas--just about anything that had 14" steel wheels and full wheel covers that they only offered in 14's). Add $100 per wheel."

Hopeful that has helped me redeem myself a little...:thankyou:

cantflip: Your response has me totally confused. Initially you stated that my offer to sell the 15" X7 " wheels for $400 was overpriced. In you latest comment you offered a suggestion of converting 15" to 14". Based upon my understanding, I would have to find 14" wheels and lets suppose that I could find them for $75, then purchase 15" wheels at $135 (your link), than convert these at a cost of $100 (your link) plus shipping of let us assume $300 round trip. The math on this would be $1,490. What am I missing?

Just an attempt to help...

Option A: used 14" wheels in your area...

AZ trip...

Option B: new 15" wheels that accept your 14" covers and only require a checkbook... I agree they are expensive, but I don't know of another solution for the problem.

I know you're taking a hit on these, and I really wish you had a better option. IMO you'll get more out of them returning them to yearone... but if someone local needs them, sure make them a deal.
