Never seen trunk hinges like this before, how do they attach to the lid?

I’m not sure, they are unique and were by some 300H trunks and stuff at an auction. So I’m really guessing that’s what they fit. But I’m not an expert, only a student .

Yeah, they are not part of any '70 300, H or not. My guess is that they are hood hinges of some sort, but I'm a student as well, so your guess is as good as mine!

I have no clue what this is for. But my guess is that it's hydraulic, not air pressure. Cadillac had hydraulic window lifts in the early 50's, perhaps that's what it's for. In my eyes the mechanism looks a little too wimpy to be a trunk lid.

I was clueless, other than they were with other Chrysler stuff. They looked to important to let the metal scrappers get them.
