Survivor specialist...........

He's quite impressed with himself, isn't he?

I wouldn't be so quick to conclude that. I don't mind when someone that really knows their stuff is confident in what he does and has the results to prove it. I also had a 1969 Hemi Road Runner with 38K miles on it that ran well too, although that is California temperatures, not the below zero experiences of back East. My engine rebuilding guy (my Hemi didn't need his skills though, as it was fine at the low mileage still) is somewhat the same way, and he specializes in the 426 Hemi rebuilds. His attention to detail is amazing. I like that, and I don't care if he comes across as overly confident. He has earned it.

If he can back up his arrogance, that's tolerable, unlike Graveyard Carz bragging about his expertise and putting an Edelbrock carb on a 69 Roadrunner 440 Super Commando while talking about how accurate his restoration is.

"The 'Cuda doesn't have the original fluids in it, but we saved them and could easily put 'em back in."

Good for you

He's a lucky man and doesn't come across as immodest or arrogant, just rebutting some myths about Hemi cars based on experience.

I think the few truly knowledgeable people in their chosen field make the pretenders and the knockers green with envy.

Frank Badalson and his friend, Roger Gibson are very well known to be the best in the business. I don't think he comes across as arrogant, but he is very confident in what he knows... and he does know a lot.

Roger Gibson Landing Page

If it's true that he has spent his life with these cars it goes a long way to explaining his ego. In any case it's an interesting story.

I didn't listen to his ramblings, don't care for ppl when they just ramble on

Frank's a good guy, and knows a lot about MoPar muscle cars, and has owned several very nice cars. I have known him for close to 40 years.

I for one would be happy to let that guy work on my hemi .....his knowledge and passion is misconstrued as arrogance by some it seems ......true knowledge can't be learned overnight but can be shared with confidence!

Alsip Chrysler Plymouth where my old man bought his 70 Fury GT 6 pack new. Guy has been around for years and I dont blame him for telling it like it is.
