Attack of the Monster Wagons!

Perhaps, somebody would see that "thrashing" and realize that it was a restorable car and then go looking for one to restore themselves? It seems that many of the cars they use are "beyond help" by most reasonable considerations. The possible "saving grace" is that with additional attention, others who might not have considered a T&C or similar sedan WOULD realize how neat they are. The more "demand" there is, the more prices might escalate, AND the more cost-effective it can be to restore the particular cars, or similar ones. Hence, more might be restored rather than left to deteriorate. The "increasing value" issue is a double-edged sword.

As B-body cars have tended to level off in the higher-mid level pricing, especially the "muscle car" versions or the "1 of E-bodies), the interest in Mopars in general has increased.

In so many cases, an LA-engine car can be a much better alternative to a tire-smoking RB-engine car. MUCH easier to change spark plugs, for example. With a few additions, they can run very nicely too! Just don't go overboard! A nice 383 4bbl is good too! That "stroker motor" might be trendy for some, but a good OEM rebuild can work just fine with a 360 or 383.

I think I mentioned that I couldn't stand the show...so no amount of watching could enable me to "enjoy it for what it's worth". As for attention for C bodies...I see nothing good coming from these clowns trashing a T&C that could be restored to be a nice car again. Enjoy your LS swaps.
As for the 6 dislikes...thanks for the kick in nuts.
Time to take a break.
Don't take it too personally, if possible. I know there will always be a demand for stuff like that show... I usually refer to it as "stupid human tricks". I watched only a couple of episodes, I really just didn't like them much. I will admit, I liked it better than the "expert" shows that have little actual expertise.

Personally I'm good with a few red x's for this opinion. If it weren't for folks who save them, like Mr C, this would be all that's left out there.

I am so glad I posted this up.Until this episode I had never really thought about wagons at all, but now I want one! Roadkill and Roadkill Garage are about the only automotive content that I can watch anymore except for the odd Garage Squad episode that has a Mopar involved.I absolutely loved the dirt track challenger episodes, but I am sure the E-body guys howled in protest.

I’ve never watched but I see a black Challenger with “Roadkill” big in white on both sides going down the court next to my shop once or twice a week.
Ah ha!, I’m just noticing that it says Motor Trend on the video. There’s a Motor Trend office 2 buildings down from me and now that I think about it I’ve seen a black Roadkill van every so often too.

Matt, is it this one?
