As the title says.. why is it not possible to upload pictures in a private
conversation from my computer / tablet or phone ..
It´s just possible to insert pictures with a link out of the internet

I'm not a computer expert, so I don't know how to upload pics somewhere and insert a link..
It would be a nice feature to upload pics ..
In the public threads it is possible so I don't see the point why not in private conversations

It would be nice, I've had a couple of PM's where the ability to add a picture would have made life a lot easier.

I have always assumed that the PM are temporary and they do not want to use up storage.
Maybe set it up so the attachments get deleted with the message?

Just get an email address in PM then send pictures directly.

I Send pics through PM all the time. Just go to this Site,
TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting upload it and copy and paste the URL for Forumns and Message boards in the PM and you are done.
Back in the early days of E-Bay & other consumer driven auction sites that’s how the pics had to be added. It was & is a lot of extra steps. It worked well though. We are fortunate to have this & other sites FREE to use & post items for sale. As someone that has been selling since 1979 we’ve come a long way. It would be nice if we could go this extra step. Maybe in time.

alright I´ll use that tool... Alans explanation does make sense to me, so I´ll live with that

This is exactly what I have done with parts I have sold thru the site.

No I didn't. I was showing another method of the same solution given to you in 67Fury's post.
Upload to image host site. Put their raw image link in the image icon pop-up box.

On FBBO (only if you are a 'Gold Member') you can.

It sucks you cant upload them to a PM on FCBO. PITA to do the workaround.
