This is for parts or restoration the 360 is bad not sure about trans or axle. I got the car from someone that said it sat for over 20 years. It is not rotted out and there is only 64000 miles on it. I have no where to complete a restoration on it. Call Dave 313-805-5091

Holy shiznit Batman.... this is in my garage (and runs). It's waiting to meet the Sawzall of doom. If somebody wants to rescue this car we could do some horse tradin'.

Mine is a rot-box.

Curses!!! When my friends all wanted a Bandit T/A, I lusted after one of these.

No AMD or Sherman sheet metal panels? That CL car has the correct wheels, it appears. What does the seller suspect it should have on it? Looks like even the factory fender flares!

wow a GT with the hood stripes....they also have the one that goes over the roof and forward ending on the front fender. Mine is going to the Body Shop today for a repaint and removal of the incorrect vinyl roof, but I'm undecided to put stripes on it when there was none before. Any thoughts out there????? the side rub strips are already removed

A long time ago there were 3 rock & roll stations in the Detroit area and this was one of them. I think it went country in the early ‘80s and I don’t know what if anything it is today but it’s not W4.

GREAT LOOKING CAR! Didn't realize anybody did add-on vinyl roofs for those cars. Those cars just looked so "good" back then, especially with the factory Magnum GT wheels! Just didn't really have the power to back-up the looks, I guess? Keep it looking great!

Stripes? My thoughts would be "like it is, no GT stripes".

Thanks for posting,

Wow both are T-roof and console cars. If I had some space I'd be all over that like a fat kid on a smartie.

Such cool cars!

I like the hood stripes, unsure on the side stripes.

When I ordered the Chrysler company car for our department in 1979, it was a dark blue Magnum XE (the one below might be black, but they looked close). It looked like this, with the wheels and interior (but again in medium blue, not tan) like shown below. That car was a clear bulls-eye for me. It was my most favorite car Chrysler built in the 1975-80 timeframe. It had the 360-4 bbl engine and it did everything really well. It was responsive, handled great (had the optional suspension) and rode well, was supremely quiet and the seats were incredibly comfortable. I liked them with the clean, monotone dark paint. I didn't feel they needed any stripes to make them look tough. They looked that way naturally and understated at the same time. And they just exuded quality throughout the vehicle.

I agree with every word of that (except I have really gotten to love the white on mine). They should have simply built every model with the police package suspension parts. No one would have found it burdensome or "hard", and the $$$ saved on additional parts, misbuilds, inventory, floorspace would have easily made up the $ for the extra 10 ounces of steel in a torsion bar, etc.

I emailed him days ago and no answer so I called him and he answered on the third ring.

Damnit, the guy put it in the ad text which means CL hides it and doesn't put up the "phone" symbol. It only opens if you click the last line. Oh well.

Let that be a lesson. BTW, CL is charging for more and more types of ads, including the kind I used to post hiring trades jobs. This does not bode well. I guess they want to hand their traffic off to FB and offer-up.

also the ad I posted, I clicked on the number and put that in the listing I posted....look at the original....I did that in case the ad is pulled and people can still call if they want to see if still available

Yeah, I just clicked it to get the bigger pics. Read it from CL

Yes what are the chances of finding two of these and then being so close to each other that you could have the transported together! Hope that the rusty one dosent get parted!
