3rd time? As soon as the drivetrain was installed and functional, I'd have spinning those wheels!

I'm pulling my car out of storage tomorrow, screw it, I can't wait for the rain. I'm just bringing i home to make room so I can place all the crap in the garage, in storage.

Not with that gray/grey thing behind him........... :mob: And no, not talking about the fence.........

After a whole day driving around, she developed a clunk in the front end.
I double checked the wheels and they were ok. The exhaust needs more tweaking it rattles and is vibrating against something in the left rear.
I popped the hood and the right exhaust manifold stud at #2 was dripping coolant.
As a precaution,I towed the BoaB back to my shop.
Simple fix..remove the manifold, double nut the stud, remove and reseal with plumbers dope.
Part and parcel of the break in process.
I want things to break, act up now and fix everything before we hit the road to Carlisle.

Absolutely the best time for things to go wrong is when you're close to home with no particular schedule. Good luck finding the rattle, I chased one for years.

I used a stud extractor to get the stud out and jammed in a bolt the same size and length as the old stud with lots of thread sealant on it.
ten minute job that nobody sees....and the manifold did not have to be removed..

Got more trim on the car today. I should have all trim done tomorrow.
gad gauge was intermittent so I used a jumper wire at the sending unit and works solid now.
Had a few rattles that I fixed,too
Sway bar bushing left side worked its way out.fixed that too.
Trunk weatherstripping, speedo and clock are next

BTW, I am driving the BoaB back to show the previous owner whom I bought it from back in 2005!
going to Toronto Sunday coming.
Now 75,he was just 27 when he bought the BoaB in 1970!!!
I will make sure there will be video and lots of pics!!
