Hello everyone I just finished building my 69 fury dash tach today . In a nut shell mounted at 2 1/2 inch tack on the back of the clock mount . I had tack graphics made and had the needle 3D printed. I Painted the needle last night and mounted the stainless button. This is my first attempt at it let me know what you think

The cost of building it was $300 . I had an old non working clock from one of my parts cars so that was free . Like I have said before I will not pay $1100 for tach

The next step is going to a friend of mine that specializes in vinyl and plastic restoration. He will fix the small hole in my dash bezel from the clock setting knob , he does amazing work.

Well I just bought FiTech fuel injection. When I have some free time that will be my next project.

Very clean looking, well done! How did you do the dial face, have it printed or use Letraset?

My hat is off to you, nice job!

I’m not sure what letraset is so I would have to say it’s printed. Another friend of mine in Saskatchewan ,owner of Englot Auto Trim did the graphics for me. The man is amazing. I gave him all the pictures I could find on the net and he made the graphics from those. For lack of a better term it’s a fancy sticker. First the black backing sticker was made then he made the white numbers and lines on a white sticker and applied it on to the black sticker . It worked well and is quite durable. It’s made out of the same material as pin stripes.

Another plus with using the graphics like this is it covered the hole in the center of the clock face where the clock arms were located. The tach is about an inch lower in a different spot all together.
