Sounds like Daytona Beach these days. The Viceland Abandoned series reported that 40% of the State Of Ohio has left, yea and they are all down here an ffs we didn't get the cream of the crop as they say.
On a plus note Ohio maybe a fairly nice place to live these days. Traffic free roads?

Those seats are optional for a Newport. Someone has just blackened the inserts.

1982 maaco $200 paint special, I think it was called the ambassador service. aluminum racing rims, alpine deck & quick maaco paint & bake. what more could a high school kid want? lol.

Examining the pic very closely, it appears to me the "black" stripes are indeed gold but very, very, dirty.

The problem I see is white and ? seats in an otherwise gold interior. I've also never seen a C with buckets and no console/buddy seat. Maybe to "gold" was added in an attempt to match the gold interior. Frankencar.

I bought it not a bad body needs trunk pan and has a small hole in drivers fender. Motor an tranny have been rebuilt it is missing the buddy seat prev. Owner was going to put a manual tranny in it and got rid of the buddy seat. Mainly just needs interior put back to orig. I already took out the radio the aftermarket cruise control
