Hello again
I was wondering if anyone would have a picture of the clips that I need to install the windshield on my sport fury convertible. I made an earlier post I was able to purchase the 10 6001-697 the green ones with the holes. the other ones I believe I need 8 and the number is 6001-648 and one 6001-795-5 The body shop that has had my car for 3years either misplaced or threw them out A member was kind enough to give me the numbers but I can not locate them. What makes it harder is I don't even know what I am looking for. If any one could post a picture I would be very appreciative or if any one would happen to have these for sale I would immediately buy them. I cant believe how screwed I am because of there incompetence and they really could not care less. They only have the car for three years. Thank you very much in advance

Try www.autometaldirect.com, I think the B body clips might be the same ones as the C body clips. You can do a part number check to verify. www.mymopar.com has the parts manuals for free download in the tools/reference section.

I sorted through some of my clips. I had some similar issues wit the body shop as I couldn’t get some of them out with the windshield in. They didn’t bag and tag. But here’s what I have so far. Thebtop two are verified with my trim. The 3rd pic not 100%. Hopefully someone else can identify 6001648 for certain.

The dash on the p/n means there is a right and left.
6001794-5. These are actually stainless pieces that may still be attached your lower trim piece.

These are actually spring clips for the bottom molding that snap into your cowl cover. Easily removed to get the cowl off for wiper access.

I am still confused about the p/n 6001648 myself I have the green ones labeled as 6001084 and the blue as 6002206 for my rear window.

Marty

Thank you I have it all straightened out I appreciate all the help what through me off is the bigger clips for the reveal moulding that requires six I thought that there were others besides the green ones that go in the channel. You explained it well the only thing I am missing is one of the cowl clips that I ordered. Thank you again you helped me greatly and it is much appreciated Frank

Sorry Frank my post above had some number scrambling going on. I transposed the 1&6. If you have a chance could you please share a picture of p/n 6001648? I would like to verify if I have my clips straight as I have the additional pleasure of very similar rear clips in the mix.
Thank you
Marty

Look up Alta Fasteners in FL, that is where I found mine.
Ok thanks alot. I notice you were in w. Central FL. I'm in apopka. If it's OK I would like to email you. I'm beginning to restore my 68 newport and I have a few questions you probably know how hard it is to find good repair folks in this area.
[email protected] look forward to hearing from you Stay Safe from IAN
