With all the differences between tanks year to year, how difficult is it going to be to find a Wagon tank for 68 T&C? Think it sits vertical in drivers quarter panel.

Hopefully you have a tank in any kind of condition. Then you at least have the option to have it restored.

I'm gonna pull and clean the tank off the parts car for my 500. Forgot to get high octane for the 10.0:1 engine. I'll likely be ordering a tank in the near future. Does Vans do any upgrading, like upsizing the outlet on the sending unit?

As far as I know every thing is completely stock. Make sure you keep the original retaining ring from your old sending unit. The re-popped ones are junk and will not seal the unit to the tank.

I preordered the tank for my 65 Fury III and received it the 6th of this month. It looks perfect and fit just like the original. If you order the sending unit, be sure to check both packing flaps for the retaining ring. The one with the sending unit is too small. I called and talked with Vans and the right ring was taped to the inside flap of the shipping box. Mostly the brown is dirty undercoating.
I highly recommend Vans.
