In my barn waiting to get the gas tank back is my friend Curt’s ‘77 triple-black Royal Monaco 2dr. 440 loaded no leather or sunroof (or ATC II). 33,000 miles, indoor-kept always, ~95% original paint. He’s the second owner and I know the first owner. If there’s a third while I’m alive, it’ll be me. I’ll try to get better pics after I make it run again.

We had a guy in my hometown that owned one just like that. Rev. Jasper, nice man..... always kept his Monaco clean and waxed. It was beautiful. The first C body I lusted after!!!

Well it's not the local one that was supposedly an Autorama car (also 3x black) because this one has door handles.... and it's not the brown-almost-black coupe with one owner who is only 64, meaning he bought it at age 22.... so this is undiscovered local talent.

Nice car!

Nice car! "Max" Monaco, but conservatively so. No ATC II. No stereo tape. But a 440!

Don't forget to change all of the rubber fuel lines, tank to carb! If they haven't already been done. Hope it all turns out well!

If I had to own a formal, it would be a Dodge. They looked the best of all of them to me. The front end styling was much better than the rest, although the 78 New Yorkers weren't bad. And I am a triple black fan too.

That’s a beauty!

Oh man! Nice car! Own a 72 but reminds me of my moms 75 royal & my first car 75 gran fury squad. My introduction into the world of mopar. Thanks for sharing!
