Trouble viewing Facebook videos

@Joeychgo, I'm having difficulty seeing the video parts of videos linked to Facebook, I can hear the audio however. I'm using my Google Pixel XL, and can see YouTube and other videos fine, wondering if my phone or Facebook is the reason, or maybe the way they are being linked to the forum. Thought I'd run it by you, and anyone that has/had the same problem.

OK, it's Chrome then. I switched my browser to Puffin and it works fine.

Actually, I think it was their last update that effed it up.
I'm playing with security settings as we speak but nuttin is working.

I was right. It was the update.

Android Chrome Won't Play YouTube Video Embedded In A Website. - Google Chrome Help

In conclusion:
The source of the problem is in Chrome, not YouTube. Older Android Chrome versions play YouTube videos, but newer Android Chrome versions fail to play YouTube videos when in older Android systems.

Fix:
The only answer to fix this issue of Android Chrome failing to play YouTube videos, is to uninstall the current version and get an older one. Of course, if Chrome fixes this issue in newer updates, good. If not, your going to need to stop the older Chrome version from updating. See this Wiki page on stopping the older Chrome from updating - How to Completely Disable Google Chrome Update .

I suggest to keep the older Android Chrome version in your android download folder for later re-installs when you test newer Chrome updates.

You should optimize your viewers optomizer. Once the optimizer has been optimized your viewing should be enhanced and thus optimized......or it wont.....
