Couldn't Help Myself

not bad, my car was sold originally in Kansas as I am the 2nd owner. I was young when I got my car and didn't bother asking the original owner was just happy he sold it to me would like to find out where some day just not sure how to do that

About a block or so above the shopping center are some businesses that look like they could be dealerships.

A C body always fits nicely on a U Haul trailer.
Hopefully you dont mind me hijacking this thread, but is this also true for a C body wagon? I'm in the beginning stages of planning a trip for a 72 wagon (roller), and I'm guessing there's a few of you guys that know the dimensions and weights off the top of your heads.

Uhaul has an interactive guide on their website... you can enter the tow vehicle and the carried vehicle until you find a combination they will accept.

It's mostly BS though... they are biased toward making you rent their truck with the trailer. The wheel base of the car fits, then you should have no problems towing it... as a roller, it's weight is down a good amount from whatever the guide allows. The guide also favors bigger weight class vehicles. I'd enter my tow vehicle as a 3/4 ton to get them to allow a tow, or tell them I was planning to tow a smaller vehicle.

I am assuming you are planning to tow with a truck that won't be beyond it's rate capacity... that can cause problems with law enforcement.

Tell them you were hauling an A body, or mid 60's B body, it will be fine.

I thought this looks like it may have possibly been a dealership back when. I only know it was an Ethan Allen store before the current businesses moved in.

I found the dealers name and location, Spencer-Faust Plymouth, off Broadway north of Kellogg.

They are off to the far right.

Looks a little different today.

Research continues.

The funny thing about your location is that not to far from there is where the ladies of the night used to work their professions LOL !!!!

The hunt continues, I found this car for sale back in 2012, sold out of Spencer's.

Just a car, but cool to find one from there and goes me a treat along the way.

I also came across this little blurp about a four door Hemi car from Spencer's.

Still just scratching the surface.

As talked about in a couple other threads, taillights for the '66 Monaco are hard to come by. I got an NOS lens from one person, and a set of used taillights from two separate junkyards, and thanks to @Jack-Stand, I ordered a full set of reproduction lenses from Layson's.

Oooohhhhhh, pretty!

Just glad I could help appease the parts gods... Lord knows they don't like us C-body people much

Time to title the car. Figured I found the title after looking everywhere in my basement a few times, only to remember I brought it out to the garage. Made myself nervous when I didn't find it in the house. But it's in my name now, and I have a plate for it, that will never go on the car,as it will get a collector plate before it ever sees the road.

Bye bye Kansas title! I wish I could hang onto these as a keepsake, but a picture will have to do.

I also transferred the title for the '68 Monaco 500, and my friend at the DMV gave me these plates;

Ends in 66 for the '66

Ends in 68 for the '68!

Thanks Ang!

Haha I had no idea there were 2 monaco's within a couple hundred miles of each other anywhere in the states... I'm in Topeka, Wichita is pretty close.

It was in Lincoln Nebraska when I acquired the car, but I'm not sure how long it stayed there.

By getting a title, now I can get information from Chrysler Historical, and start the paper trail from the beginning.
