A friend might be interested in the left quarter panel. How much & will you ship it? How bad is the lower right quarter? I can see some rust.

Nope, I am going to do a total transplant. I have another 4 drht which has beautiful components but a salt eaten and plastic filled body shell. My shell also came from Az.. I picked it up from Murray Park in Tiffin, Oh..

I guess I should have checked with him first Im in Akron about an hr or so from Tiffin.Mind if I ask how much he charged.I paid 600 for mine.

No, not at all. We agreed on $1500. And I spent $300 in fuel to go get it. He had already sold the entire front clip -engine, forward frame, sheet metal and all. The car was complete from the firewall back. I only wanted the body shell, so he stripped it down completely for me. If you don't know Murray and his operation, it is a Serious Business for him... C Bodies are his life's passion and he has amassed hundreds of them, more than half are stored under roof. He has somehow managed to turn his passion into his livelihood.., and he has overhead and business expense and all the other crap to deal with that comes along with owning a big business......and he does it all by himself, with the help of his wife and kids. So when he prices something, it's not going to be dirt cheap. He knows what he's got in it and he's going to make sure he gets whatever percentage he needs to make the business stay alive as well as providing for his family. And this shell is near perfection with one minor ping dent, the size of a dime. If you've never visited him, I highly recommend you schedule a visit. I was completely blown away when I was finally granted the Grand Tour. Just jaw dropping. If I lived in Akron, I'd be begging him to hire me!

I completely understand that he has to make a living too.I think that was a very fair price looking at the picture.I wish you good luck with your project.Hope you post a build forum. Thanks,Joe
