I WANT IT!! I WANT IT NOW! WAH!

If you EVER decide to sell it, PLEASE let me know. The Morris Family REALLY CAN use a C-body station wagon. I can always go rob a bank or something.... maybe sell my progeny, or SOMETHING!

My plans are probably to make it road worthy, do some rust repair, and spot it in with flattened paint to resemble the original.

When I went to look at my wagon through Auto Locator, the first thing I said to the guy that was selling it was "that is the ugliest car I ever saw". Took it for a drive and said "no way" and left. I went a mile down the road and turned back because I knew I had to have it. That was 12 years ago and I totally fell in love with it. I will never sell her. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

Mine also was in a barn for 30 years. I drive it every day it is nice. I put 7000-10,000 a year on it and recently got back from towing my boat 7 hrs up Canada and back. I've seen many pictures of 60 Plymouth wagons and in MY opinion the oyster/carmel is the perfect color combo for a 1960 Plymouth Suburban.

Good luck and HAVE A GREAT DAY!
Karl.

That is a gorgeous car Karl.
Plymouth had advertisements of the wagons in that colour too.
I agree, it is a great colour.
The wheels are a nice touch

Thank you! Isn't that the color yours is also? I did see a picture of one that was oyster with metallic turquoise that also looked like it would be really sharp.
They're such a big car and with the white on the fenders, there just aren't a lot of combos that will work.

I had a black 67 GTO for 25 years. It was my baby. Every time I took it out, someone ask if it was for sale. I've had this for 12 years and every time I take it out, I get lots of stares and compliments but only ONCE did anyone ask if it were for sale. He offered $30,000. That's actually a fair offer but I knew I would never find another one and IF I could, I could not build it for that much.

IF your interior is rough or not for a spare set, look into SMS. They have NOS[dated 1959 with MOPAR #s] seat covers for 4 dr. 60 Plymouth Suburbans. I believe front and middle sets were around $800. Try to build a factory looking seat cover for half of that and they have the forward look logo embossed in one panel. If you have the 3rd seat, I have an NOS cover for it. I was going to add a 3rd seat but decided I like the storage space more. I believe Fury and Belvedere may have sued the same patterns?

Oh, the wheels are just chrome Chevy smoothies with small bullet rally caps.

Oh well, I always ramble. Again, I hope you have as much fun with yours!
ENJOY!
Karl.

Yes, my car is the same color as yours Karl.
Thanks for the tip about the seat covers. I'll check with SMS. I have contacted them about a Fury I'm doing, but no reply back from them.
My car has the old seat covers that look like upholstery on it, and as far as I can tell, the original upholstery appears to be in great shape. Although I expect it to be a bit crispy.

Karl, do have chrome reverse wheels with center caps featuring bullets?
