Ok I held a woodgrain with my own grubby hands. It was on the cheap side and only had one crack (no gap). No extra parts pad etc etc and long story short I decided to pass. I'm really happy with the stock wheel I have now but I've alway wondered what the difference is between these two styles.

Mine. Plain center.

Is that a new for 1970 difference? It just looks a whole lot cooler than the one in my '69.

Nice nice car by the way Mr fury440. Every time that pic pops up I like that center cap more and more.

That center started off in the 69 Chrysler 300's then emigrated to Plymouth for 70. I have a couple spare I think.

I scored this one for 20 bucks. I'm gonna steal the metal ribbon for my '69 wheel and set the cap aside for when I find my 1970 SFGT 440 HP Black with a tan interior. LOL !!!

Thanks for the info guys.

Don't worry I won't hurt it as it's NOS.
