For Sale Not Mine - 71 Fury III

So rare that I personally have never seen a C-body, or even a B-body, hasn’t had some at some work done at some point, or needed some when I saw it.

Yep. I think I just might do that. Like I say, though, the link to the ad is dead. Makes me wonder if the car is still available. Thanks
I noted that the link is down as well. Seems like if the car was available it would still be up. Kind of hard to justify a ride to Hershey to see if it's there (unless you were going there anyway . . . )

Yeah, that's what is known as the "formal" roof. Not quite as nice as the "regular" roof. That is only a matter of opinion though, there has to be some people who like it. The C pillar is a little bulkier and the window is concave, similar to some of the Impalas of the same era.
At least I belong to those who like the Formal style. But a Fury is too small so I pass...

When I see a car I am very interested in - I usually save the number either writing it down or printing the ad from Craigslist and call later when I have the funds.
Almost 8/10 when a car is listed and taken down within a month, the owner still has the car. Just forgot to relist, changed their mind about selling, isn’t a motivated seller, or is just busy.
I would actually bet on this owner still having the car

Meh..bit high for a small block 318, but then not in too bad shape either. I've seen people trying to sell rat trap rust bucket Furys for more than this one so maybe it all balances out in the end. All depends on what ya want I suppose.

I guess you've never seen my '78 NYB....

Not in person.:)

Didn’t say they don’t exist...just that my travels are very limited IRL compared to a lot of folks around these parts.

I’ve seen a LOT of real baskets cases though.

And I do take it back on the B bodies. Just remembered a trip to Wellborn museum and they have a few true B body survivors on display that probably had little or no work done.
