Sadie - 1974 Imperial LeBaron

You can also close them by the same way, just turning the manual control knob to the opposite direction.

Took Sadie out today and drove her around town! Getting the hang of driving it! It took time to get used to the car’s size but it’s been much easier lately.

I get a lot of waves and thumbs up when I drive her around!

Driving these barges is easier than driving new plastic bullets because all the corners are clearly visible. You also see the long hood instead of having to imagine it while parking.

Thanks! I know 1970's (Or any decade) Four-Doors aren't popular or necessarily looked at with great adoration by many but that just makes it more unique to me! I know there's a small niche of classic Four-Door and Station Wagon lovers out there who appreciate them too.
I agree...2 doors most often are sexier but I can love the 4 doors...I've got a 72 Fury III and a 68 Newport and likely i woiudnt be able to play without the lower prices of these babies...

I have to say that 4dr hts can be a lot of fun while cruising with all the side windows down.

Yes, I like hardtops - 2 or 4 doors. My Plymouth Fury is a 4 door hardtop and when you roll them all down the open area is unbelievable - and awesome.

I keep saying to my mom that if I put the windows down, I could push a whale in.

My wife says that if we ever become homeless we could live in the car, the seats are the couch in the front and a bed would easily fit in the trunk. :)

Lovely car.4 doors are great for taking friends places. What i love about them is when you pull the door closed the plush interior snugs against you as a passenger.Sail pillows, seats, door panels.Lets roll,ya know.B.B

Hey ImpJay! I haven’t driven quite as much lately due to the cold and wet weather. I still take her out on Sundays when weather permits but she’s been hibernating in the garage hooked up to a trickle charger for the most part. If we have another pretty Sunday before Christmas I’ll take her out for some more photos.

Collin, trickle chargers scare the sh_t out of me...I disconnect batteries after every daily drive/overnight and/or when I leave house. It's my OCD problem I know...But, I wonder how many garage fires start from Old Iron electrical issues. I'm not trying to be clever but my eye doctor's home burned down from a trickle charge malfunction this year.

Same thing over here. When a car goes to hibernation, minus battery cable comes off. It´s even easier to make repairs when you don´t have think about possible electricity coming via the tool used at the time.

No worries. She isn’t hooked up right now. Here’s some pictures

I would get more but with this giant boat in the garage I can barely navigate around it xD
