Does any one on here know if the sub-frame for a 67 fury with a 318 is the same for a 383 car? It is my understanding that the sub-frames are the same just use different motor mounts unless it’s a slant 6 then the sub-frame is different. Can anyone confirm this?

Awesome! Thanks for the reply found a replacement for my 67 but the junkyard wasn’t sure if the 318 was the same. I was pretty sure it was but needed a little conformation before I drove 2 hours to get it.

Not sure what happened but it’s smashed right in the middle and cut out to clear the oil pan.

All my 1968 318ci Fury's had a front sway bar. I think the sway bar delete was only for Taxi's.

Nope, the front sway bar was an option on '68 318 Furys except for wagons. My yellow 68 Sport Fury was originally a 318 car with no front sway bar. According to the Chrysler parts book '68 non-sway bar 318 powered Furys in 68 got the same torsion bars as the 440 cars.

One of the car magazines got a group of 1968 full-size cars for a road test. Basic "standard V-8" cars. The '68 Fury 318 was "front sway bar-less". The picture of it in a corner wasn't pretty. Even if it had 440 torsion bars.

On factory a/c cars, the front torsion bars were upgraded to the same as the "HD" bars' diameter, from what I recall from the FSM.
