I purchased my first car, a '65 Sport Fury on June 25, 1979. I still have it and hoping to finish it for my wife and I to join the 2020 Hot Rod Power Tour. I've been on 2 other Power Tours and looking forward to doing it in the Fury.

The first picture is from July '91 (383 HP w/2-4's) and the second is the new engine. It's a .30 over 440 on the dyno. It did 450 hp/530 tq, this is the 4th pull and not to those numbers yet.
I talked to Silver Sport Transmissions today and they don't know the location of the opening in the console for the shifter. I don't think they have enough C-body interest for them to offer kits for them. As soon as I can tell them how many inches back from the front of the trans and to the left of center I need the shifter to be, they'll do what they can to put it there.

:welcome::usflag: pics! Pics ! we love pics.
I just put a couple on here. There's a lot more and I'll share some other things that might help you guys, but most of all, I want to see/read what other people are doing. There'a always a great idea out there waiting to be found. I hate finding them after finishing a build!!

Welcome from the Mitten, good looking ride. You should start a build thread.
Thank you!! I didn't know there was anything out there for our cars and I'm really glad I found this forum.
What do I need to do to start a build thread? Home, Start Thread?

Just pick the area it belongs in, usually restoration. Go into the forums and choose a category, you will see the post a thread box, click on it and start your thread for all to enjoy:)

Thank you!! I'll try to get something started this weekend.

Looking forward to seeing what you put together
Thank you!!
I'm going to start a thread. Like a lot of people on here, I've been working on my car for a long time and some input from people that have "gone there first" could help.
