Sorry I was fooling around at the show & didn’t get many pics. Here’s what I got.

If you told me I'd still be trying to sell the car I bought and drove to Spring Fling, I'd have said you were crazy. If you think the C-body world is full of cheapskates, the FMJ world sets a new standard. I have one local stalker who's upset I won't "give my bottom dollar price" on a $3k car because it has the nerve to be located on the other side of the country. I told him to do Michigan a favor and move.

Sigh. I digress. Why is everyone walking around in shorts?

The kiddie car is cool. I have a telephoto lens.

Were they handing out barf bags as you walked past the blue 300? could they hang something else on that car?

It was a hot day there, like about 90F.

But I wasn't wearing shorts - that's for old farts.

Jay Leno also showed up in his 1958 Imperial, the subject of this youtube video:

But it has been restored now compared to the original driver it was in the video. The restoration was remarkably well done, and it really did look like new. And Jay makes sure everything works when he restores and drives them. Anyone get a photo of that one while it was there?

thanks for the pics.

Any other Fuselages around despite the 69 Fury vert?

I've been twice (in spring) and I keep being told "some years, Jay Leno comes out!" which would be cool because I met him about 25 years ago when he took delivery of the 1st black Viper.

I suppose it will be a few years till he's back. :(

I talked to the owner of the DeSoto that shows up in a few of the pics, just as my buddy was putting the finishing touches on his resto last spring.

Thanks for the great pics.

I was there as well, but didn't take many pics. Had a good time meeting up with Chris Sherman, his wife Terry, and meeting Ed. Also seeing Ian there was nice!

Thanks for posting the pics. What kind of filter do you use on your lens or is that just the effect of the CA sun?
It’s all the new phone. All I do is crank the light sometimes so they’re not so dark. The freaky light stuff is the phone - my brother thinks it mixes the two lenses digitally. Who knows ??? It makes for some cool shots and ruins others LOL !!!

One thing I can say that’s annoying is I can’t post the original pics, files are too big. I have to screenshot each pic and crop the dead space. Kinda weird. That truck shot though, pretty cool, beam me up Scotty!!!!

Thanks for rolling out the welcome wagon guys. My one brother hurt his back, my other was on 15 year anniversary duty & the wife said it was too dang hot to go with, ( 100% Irish and melts easily). Everybody else I could drag along was in Vegas for SEMA or NHRA. It was really nice to hang out, BS & get to know you guys in person. Listening to Ian’s stories I look forward to riding in the trunk at 2AM someday helping to keep something from falling off a new car project somebody’s trying to drag home semi legally...
