It seems kind of interesting. Harpswell is surrounded on 3 sides by slat water and you never see anything older than 5 years that isn't rusted badly. Maine wouldn't issue a title on any vehicle that old, and they have antique plates. Usually in this part of the world it means it won't pass a state safety inspection.
Maybe on the up and up, but I would approach those with full apprehension

Yeah, I agree. I’ve got a red & white of my own in mass. After 30 years I doubt there original. But who cares? There not worth **** in Shelby terms but fun as hell to drive. Bought my white one new at age 19 & my red one that I bought in 08 as a parts truck. Life’s Circumstances turned it into my daily driver till this day. Patch the holes & rebuild the overdrive every 75k & they run forever. One of the very last appearances of the LA 318 & a very easy lot in life for it in a gen 1 Dakota. They look clean as hell tho. Mine are closer looking to the imperial grave yard that fella keeps posting here. But I’m 49 and still using the same steering wheel for 30 years. (Swapped from my white one)Sometimes I don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad. Lmao!

It’s weird that he’s got the correct wheels on the white one that’s more altered than the red that has the aftermarket wheels.

Yeah but 92 & up are not truly old school. Does anyone know the scoop on the white one? No pun intended. Lol. I like the white ones. There’s less of them & it really makes that one color fits all interior pop out at you imho.

I mean LA non magnum engines. ignition on the columns ( same style keys& cylinders ,v belts. Thoes Just have more in common with our mopars from yesteryear. By the way I love those tbi’s I’d Love to have one of those on a clean small block 70s satellite or power wagon as a daily driver. It would sure make life a bit easier. I don’t know if it would be enough fuel for a built up 318 or 360.
