Its radiator time

I have one but without the fans. Quality was great and fitment was good although my application called for some creativity as my car was a small block car initially with 22" radiator and smaller opening in core support. So cant vouch for plug and play fitment. It did match my 22" mounting holes on one side. The welds looked clean and consistent however it was clear it was not a an assembly line kind consistent. In searching you will find other people that have had issues. Because of this I called them to discuss my conversion situation and they picked up and were knowledgeable so I pulled the trigger. My old radiator had a tiny crack so suffice it to say this new one solved my problem. But I cant compare to 3,4 row reverse osmosis ram air cross cooling :) the others talk about. 2 big rows made sense to me. And it been great ever since. I painted over the shiny aluminum with black. No issues.

Note: The 26" radiator they said would bolt ride in to my 78 NYB didn't bolt in. It was about 2" short on both sides. I had to fabricate aluminum flat plate mounts. The radiator will bolt right in on a big block B and E body.
 
And in black. I also adapted my 22" shroud so that helps too. Black kinda hides that non-factory look. 2+ years ago when I did mine I did not have choices mentioned above. They look nice too.

I'm also at Radiator Time, and I just ordered the OEM replacement "Spectre Premium" radiator (#CU332) from Rocky for the amazingly low price of $176.

I like the dead-stock look.

Dunno.....gotta put the make/model/engine into the Rocky website and see what comes up. I'm not a huge fan of Rock Auto (always that "quality" issue to consider), but their website is spectacular for finding what you need in an orderly manner with a number of $ choices, etc. Frankly, I'm amazed at the hard parts they have for our cars.
 
Are there any radiator repair shops in your area? If there is you can take yours to them and the can go over it, pressure test it, re-core it and repair any leaks in the tanks. Most of these are "old school" shops that have been around for a while and the guys are pretty knowledgeable.

Yes, and the fan controller too.

If you look on the drivers side of the radiator right on the core support next to the battery you can see the fan controller. I'll post a better picture in a couple of weeks.

All of these options are certainly worth consideration but over the past year, several C-body forum members have helped us introduce the ONLY 1966-1970 direct OEM fit 26" C-body all aluminum big core radiator on the market. Ours fits exactly where it should fit and the shroud fits without modification as well. Anyone interested PM me for a special price. I'm almost feeling like Santa Claus! ;)

I just looked at the specs on this radiator as listed in the diagram above.

I don't know if it'll fit a big block slab or fusie but it definitely won't fit a Formal. It's the same dimensions as my radiator which is not wide enough by 3". Also the lower hose on Formals is on the passenger side. The lower hose is on the drivers side of this aluminum radiator. Good luck trying to get the lower hose to work. This aluminum radiator worked for me because I have a Mopar Performance Hemi water pump and aluminum water pump housing with my serpentine system with the water pump outlet on the drivers side. So it worked just fine for the Blue Beast.
 
Here's my just-delivered Spectre CU332 rad from RockAuto. It looks perfectly "1970" and is a three row unit. Construction looks quite good, paint looks good, and surprisingly it wasn't damaged in transit from "wherever it was made" to the warehouse to FedEx to me, so no issues.

I should have mentioned that there are zero "Chrysler" markings such as part number and the Pentastar embossed into the tanks. These are totally repop, which I'm totally good with. Further, the structure is more "streamlined" than an OEM unit...much less fussy details.

Anyway, if if fits easily (which I'm pretty sure will be perfect) and doesn't leak, I'll be happy with NOT having to take my current rad to an old-school shop in the bad part of town and leave it for 4 days while he measures and then orders the core from (according to him) the only place in the US that makes them up for shops like his....someplace in Texas. Screwwwww all that....gimme my $176 radiator and lemme install it pronto!
