I am looking for a replacement convertible top for my 1969 Chrysler 300. I have found only 2 top suppliers so far. I need some input as what is considered correct replacement material and with good quality. This is my first convertible and so far mechanical condition and oper. has been fine. The top condition is starting to deteriorate w/ fine cracks in the vinyl and shrinkage. Rear window is glass. Members who have replaced your top I need your feedback on selecting the correct supplier and period correct vinyl as it appears pin point and crushed vinyl are both available. Crushed vinyl is on the car now. Thanks to all in advance.

Same situation here. I want to keep my car as original as possible, but I am in the same boat as David: I can keep operating it as is, and it's working great, but in my case the seams are starting to fray. Mine is a 1970 Polara convertible.

I have a Legendary top on mine, but I'll bet dollars to donuts that Legendary doesn't make the tops. It seems to fit well, but the installer (the PO had it done) didn't do the best job.

You know..... Comparing Will's top and mine, I'll bet that ARO makes the tops for Legendary.

I don't have anything to add but I'll be in the same spot at some point and want to keep up on the thread. Mine has the original to with glass window. The top itself doesn't leak but there is some around the seals. It looks really good but must have shrunk a bit over the years. If I leave it down for a few days or a week it's tough to get latched.

Replacement Convertible Top Manufacturer, convertible tops, rag tops When I ordered my new glass window from legendary auto interiors it came in an electron top box . I thought that was interesting because I figured they made there tops in-house. It looks like they have electron make the zipper in back windows for the fuselage convertible cars ? It’s a great quality window, I have no complaints.
