November in Florida...

I haven,t been on my computer much. Job is going ok, I just watch the tools from being made into weapons. I just recently got out of the hospital. The doctor said I had a perforated colon. Four days of no drinks or food, and 24/7 diarrea. I am healing fine.
Take care of yourself and get well soon.

Thanks for posting all the pics Jeff. Even though it may have not been as good of a show as in the past, it was better than what this guy was doing.
I was going to come till Stan said he wasn't going....

Thanks for looking... thaty's all I plan to post... I wanted to give a feel for what was there, since a few out of town members expressed interest. The show was less than I expected this year, but I don't know why. They did a much better job than last year and the weather was better, although it was overcast all day Saturday.

thanks for the pics Jeff. Great to get an impression what was there this year.
I think the show was less because of last year.
The move from Garlits place to the horsearea went pretty bad. Last year all the guys with the show cars had to drive through a long sandy road with a lot of dust. Everyone was unhappy about that. The place doesn't have the atmosphere as the Garlits location had. I think unfortunatly the show is on a major downhill participants wise.

Looking at the amount of cars that attended it wasn't worth making a long travel.

That would be a shame... they did a very nice show this year. The road in is paved, and the location is quite nice... with onsite camping and showers available. The Friday night dinner was great...

I was really thinking this show should have gone the other direction, the Carlisle events show didn't appear to be running. I wonder how much got killed off by the short Garlits show the prior weekend and the overcast weather didn't help much.

Do you have any details or more pictures of this one?
I did snap a picture of the owner's show registration cards on the dash, but won't put them up in public forum. All it would get you is the owner's name... but I can dig it up an PM you if you like.

The FCBO presence this year was low... I didn't help... I decided to have a beer Saturday morning vs the 2 hour round trip to retrieve a car.

A sweet car and great owners... never did get the FCBO handle...

And of course the "mission from God" folks... It was great to spend a little time with Zac and Sabrina, and I got to ride in the backseat for a short and uneventful distance (no burnouts, no law enforcement involved)... but the engine made it's own, very nice, vroom vroom sounds.

No thanks. I don`t have use for the name, but I`d be interested of the fender tag, which you can`t post.

it belongs to a member here. Originally bought in California.
But I don't want to share his tag as long as I do not have his "ok" to do so.
I will inform him about your request though.

I do wish we could connect with all the members at a show... we have a really great little community here and I love meeting the members.

Got stuck behind this thing yesterday heading out to the beach. Talk about a diesel puffer! Whew!! After the show at the speedway, guys cruise Atlantic Blvd. Rat rods seem to be BIG down here.
