RIMS! What fits What?!! -Wish the hell I knew what I was doing...

I’m sorry but that’s a choice I would not have made.

I put a set of 2006 Taurus wheels on my car in 2009. I liked them because they went well with Monaco's stainless trim. I had to put 2 inch spacers to correct the offset. The tires were p225/45R17. This summer I finally swapped out the p225/45s with p225/65R17 tires which are a closer diameter match to stock p235/75R15s.

I like this shade of blue. Is it original?

That’s a beautiful car. I love that color but with a red interior. Nice.

Did the ride quality and speedometer readings change much after the swap?

PS: your car is amazing, I really like the photos you take (not just of your car, BTW, I've been admiring your landscapes for a while).

"Are YOU talkin to ME??" -Well, the ride is fine for me, sitting behind the steering wheel; very smooth, very relaxing. As far as the speedometer/odometer accuracy goes, it's hard to tell. No matter how many times I tell him "LET'S GO!", I can't seem to get the kid to push the jalopy any faster than a snail's pace. -OP
