No brainer at that price.

500.00 radio all day long..great deal!

Did it sell? I am looking for AM/FM stereo options for a 73 Monaco wagon.

Ok thanks.

If a factory unit, you want 1972 or 73 Fury/Polara/ Monaco.
I believe a 71 Polara / Monaco and 1969/70/71 Fury /Polara Monaco will bolt up, all those faces are curved. ( verify before you commit )

Ive installed aftermarket radios on the curved face with little to no trouble ...

Not a good visual but the in-dash Kenwood always worked well for me.

When I first started looking I didn’t think it’d be that hard to find a retro looking unit, with modern internals. No one sells anything C-body friendly. I am starting to think it doesn’t matter. I’ll probably just jerk out the original AM and get some Crutchfield adapter. 70SportSuburban said Kenwood was decent too. I am amazed at what level of technology is out there for not much money. It is almost more functionality than I want. I would probably be happy with AM/FM/CD, but I should probably get iPod AUX and Bluetooth.

That interior is pristine, by the way. Very nice.

If you want a original looking unit You can take the old one out and send it to a number of companies that will install am/fm , 40 watts at four channel with blue tooth and I pod capabilities . It may cost you 4 to 8 hundred but worth it in my opinion for an original looking radio.

That would be nice, but afraid a $76 Kenwood makes more sense to my budget right now, considering I also have to do headliner, dashpad, carpet, paint, A/C, seats...maybe longer term I can revisit.

I agree... nothing wrong with it.
