I am collecting parts, as I restore my '68 300. It has a single snorkel now, so NOT a TNT. But, I would not mind upgrading to the correct TNT 440 snorkel. Is this it?

What you have could be valuable to somebody doing a BluesMobile clone.

CBODY67

The oval duck-bill tips and unequal lengths are the big clues of mid-70s aircleaners.

The Nick's site is about the best resource there is for aircleaner ID.

The dual-snorkel one you seek for a 68 Cbody TNT is pretty HTF.
Would be from 67-68 only, 440 only, and is taller than the one shown on Nicks for the B-body cars.
Guys pay huge $$ for the B-body ones, as it is 67 only for them (GTX and Coronet R/T) but they don't know the C-body one is similar, so I've seen them fight over them also, not realizing the part is incorrect.

Is the TNT taller than a 383 HP air cleaner, a different p/n?

Don't know offhand if taller, but the TNT is pretty massive when you hold it in your hands.
They are different between 383 and TNT, TNT is bigger in dia and area where wingnut goes.
And this style of TNT airclaner is also more massive than the 1970-72 style that has the thin flat lid and rectangular snorkels.
